Philosophy
McCurry takes photos of many things from conflict to people just being happy. He captures in his photos cultures and peoples that western society doesn't often see. He Makes sure that every image while fitting in with the other photos he takes is its own story. "What is important to my work is the individual picture. I photograph stories on assignment, and of course they have to be put together coherently. But what matters most is that each picture stands on its own, with its own place and feeling."
